# About launchboost

## What it is

launchboost is a startup directory with a weekly launch. Founders list a product for free. It goes live on the next Monday, people upvote it during that week, and afterwards it stays in the directory, filed under its categories and findable in search.

It's built for indie founders and small teams who want their product in front of people who try new tools, without a launch-day scramble.

## How a launch week works

A launch week runs Monday to Sunday, UTC. Each listing competes only against the other launches of its week, and the ranking is the number of upvotes. Votes close when the week ends, so a final ranking never changes.

The top 3 of every week get a followed link. Every past week keeps its own ranking page.

## How it pays for itself

Listing is free. Founders can pay to go live today instead of next Monday, for a featured spot on the homepage, for a newsletter spot, or for the weekly sponsor slot.

Paid placements are labelled as such, and paying never changes the ranking. Prices are one-time, in euros, with no VAT.

## Who runs it

launchboost is run by Enrico Ort, a sole trader in Berlin, Germany. As a small business under § 19 UStG, it charges no VAT.
